Train Your Brain is a useful tool that can help you learn, study, or memorize any subject, e.g. you can study multiplication tables, learn a language, study vocabulary, etc. This is done by the memorization of graphic cards.
The process for learning the cards is simple. First, you have to select the cards you wish to learn (the author recommends beginning with a small number of cards). Then, the program will be showing the cards one by one with a certain number of repetitions according to your progress. You will have to rank each card according to your memorization level. You can choose: remember, recall, familiar, forget, and skip. The program will be tracking your performance. You can see your performance in the Statistics tab. The performance can be shown by week, month, quarter, and year. The best of all is that you can manage the time you use to study and set your own goals.
The trial version includes the Japanese Kanji card sets, but you can download any of the featured card sets included into the Digital Dominion web page. Card sets include: Japanese Hiragana, Katana, Spanish vocabulary, Spanish foods, German regular verbs, multiplication tables, and more. Each card can be edited and you can create your own cards with text, pictures, and symbols.
